Ranger's Buttons

Sphenosciadium capitellatum are also called:

  • swamp white-heads

  • button parsley

Ranger's buttons are a member of the Apiaceae or carrot family.

Sphenosciadium refers to the Greek sphenos for wedge and to sciados meaning umbrella, referring to the umbel.

Capitellatum means having a small head.
